About Taste of Mississippi

A much-anticipated event in the Jackson area, Taste of Mississippi: A Benefit for Stewpot offers culinary delights from more than 40 area restaurants, a silent auction and live music. Every year, the event is held at Highland Village, a premier outdoor shopping center in Jackson.

All proceeds from Taste of Mississippi benefit Stewpot Community Services, whose mission is to provide for the needs of the poor, elderly and disabled in Jackson's metro area. In 2009, the event raised more than $114,000 for Stewpot's 17 ministries.
